Vegetable diet is best to hold in the heat of summer and early autumn when the vegetables are in abundance.
It Can be observed for 1 month, and if the menu include less carbohydrate and protein - it can be done for even longer period.
Vegetable diet promises weight loss of 6-12 lbs per month. For each day you can consume 3 kg of raw or cooked vegetables. Recommended especially zucchini, cabbage, carrots, green beans, cucumbers, tomatoes, pumpkin, spinach, lettuce.
To vegetable diet you can add small amounts:
- Fresh fruit - apples, peaches, apricots, pears, plums, etc.
- Skim milk and yogurt, low fat cottage cheese
- Oat, rye or corn kernels
- Or rye bread
Breakfast: salad of shredded raw carrots, corn or other nuts, splashed with a little skim milk
Lunch: 1 / 4 cucumber
Lunch: salad of raw vegetables of your choice and 2 boiled potatoes 1 tsp vegetable oil or cream, 1 slice of rye bread
Snack: 1 red pepper
Dinner: salad of raw vegetables with 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Salads should be prepared with minimal fat and salt. You can mingle with plenty of lemon juice and fresh herbs. You are allowed to drink mineral water, coffee and tea without sugar, herbal potions.
